Just bought one last night. This thing ROCKS!
Very fast. Siri is awesome.
The iPhone is now my friend.

i thought siri was thick
that's what you were saying before

No.
It was because it doesn't know Thailand maps. Just turn off locations on Siri and problem solved.
Other than that, it's great. No buttons to push. You just put up your phone to your ear as if you were going to make a call and start talking.
^Another gay iphoner!
why would anyone buy an iPhone 4s is beyond me,
unless you are a teenage girl of course, and you got one for Christmas

I mean, we could get very philosophical here. You want to take it there?
I think there is too much of this BPA shit flying around in Thailand.
Yes, I know...Originally Posted by singledollarbaby

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Oh yes.. I remember that.
I was on one of my rants then..
My sister purchased a Kindle Fire. The wifi stopped working for some reason, but now it works again. She loves it.
I'm sticking with iPhone for now, but next year or early 2013 I will move on for sure. I was going to go with the Galaxy Nexus, but I'll hang on until something more comes along. For now the iPhone is OK. It gives me the apps I want. and I won't break it again.
Which laptop did you get? I just bought one. Not for me for the wife.
and the reason why I get things right sometimes is because once in a while I stop bullshitting and answer something.
I used to do that all the time before, but not now. It's not worth it. People will just come and try to ridicule you.
So, I have my moments but I don't let it happen too often.
a conversation between two teenager girls discussing make up tips is more interesting than all this phone threads
and the iPhone 4s is really much better than the iPhone 4.
It seems apple does their best with the "s" release. I'm guessing it would be better to jump 5 and go to 5s.
If there's someone here that has a 3Gs and they've been holding on to it after the iPhone 4 antenna , etc etc fiascos, this is the one to get.

I rest my case.
I can't remember the model number- it's a Samsung (yes, I know you don't like them) with an i7 2.2GHz boost up to 3.10GHz, 750GB HDD, 8GB RAM, 15.6" HD screen, Windows 7 64-bit- the wife needs to do some graphic design so I needed all the bells-and-whistles (though I didn't shell out for an SSD- they were stupid expensive)- it will also do a decent job of running Diablo 3 (if it ever comes out).
Interesting
What's the graphics card?
It's not that nvidia Optimus is it?
I don't recall the graphics card model number- I got an upgrade from whatever the stock one was, though- the kid I bought it from was a gamer and I went with his recommendation.
The system definitely uses Nvidia Optimus (which regulates power to the graphics card to save battery power) but that's not indicative of the graphics card itself.
I think it's a Geforce 560 (it might only be a 540- I wasn't too concerned with it as I'll be putting together a powerful new desktop pretty soon and won't game much on the laptop), but I won't know for a while- the wife (and the laptop) are away until Saturday.
optimus is not available to all i7s - the cpu needs to have graphics on die for optimus to be used
I actually had never heard of it until I saw the sticker on the laptop when I was at Pantip- I don't know if it's a positive or negative aspect yet as I haven't had a chance to play around much with it (I've just done a bit of poking around online)- if anyone knows how to best set it up please let me know.
it is a positive for battery life
find a forum for your laptop and you will get the info you need
Unnecessary- after ranting and raving about how it's the worst power-consumption system ever devised and telling me I basically threw my money away, Squiggles will tell me how to set it up.Originally Posted by baldrick
look in the nvidia video card setup application - also I think there may be a hardware button on the laptop.Originally Posted by FailSafe
my i7 ( pre sandy bridge ) and GT425M does not have optimus - at that time only the i5 and below had ondie graphics - thus how I know a little about this as I had to look up why my optimus power switching did not seem to be working
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.
