I want to get a nice office chair like what bkkmadness has in his bedsit, I did have an office chair that I bought from Big C for 1,500 and I had to assemble it myself and it was rubbish. The back came loose after a couple of weeks and then one day one of the five legs broke when Timba sat in it and leaned back to pick up his phone. So I'm looking for an office clearance or second hand chair shop, preferably near where I live - or if any of you could steal one from your place of work I am willing to pay for it. My budget is 2,000. Cheers

Up your budget and buy a bigger, more solid and comfortable chair Scamp. You work on your computer, so it's a good investment and you will get some use out of it. Mine was discounted a little and cost about 3 K from Office Depot. Those wiry framed skinny 1 K chairs are not worth the money, as Timba has demonstrated for you.

Why don't you go downstairs, backhand that fat lazy security guard off his chair, and take that. I dare you Scamp, do it, do it, do it, you know you want to! Last edited by bkkmadness : 27-08-2008 at 03:31 PM.

| in a hammock | If you buy office chair make sure the star at foot is on aluminium or metal ! Any plastic chair just bends and break with western weights on it... At Moderform they do clearance sale of the models with low stock, always good deals for around 3 K even less. There is some second hand office furniture shop on the Mithrapap road, pass Airport Don Muang, Boonthavorn Bathroom few km ahead on opposite side...Huge choice of things |

saw a good design for an office chair at carrefour the other week - it has a mesh back which seem a smart idea in this climate - but it still had the plastic base
