Is this a bar for rent or let?
Or is the land/building for sale?

Ermmmm Skinny goat, I just had a look at TV and am flummoxed as to why you uploaded the photos you did to try and sell you business.

The 7 pics uploaded are atrocious and can you please explain why you used these two.

I really don't think anything is for sale here...

It's the Thai/European style of sale where the "buyer" is merely renting the place, but pays the previous renter a fee for the patronage.

Sounds like a crock to me. Maybe I'm wrong. More than likely, I don't know the details of buying a bar.

Buying a business is not buying real estate. if he's doing enough money to make the investement back after expenses (including a fair owners monthly draw) in eighteen months to two years and he has a long term lease, the price isn't bad. with that in mind a profit of 30 - 40k is all that is needed to have asking price value, hardly a crock of shit. The property owner and the lease terms are the important variables here.

I stand corrected, but it's as I thought -- nothing material for sale.

    It's a lease.

    Hi Lady Hawk,

I wasn't trying to run the guy down (although it did look that way a little I guess)

It's just that with 30 mins work he could of had an advert for a bar that looks like it is worth 750,000 baht because at the moment it doesn't.

Clean up the room and if you can't manage it find a customer with a good camera who can take a half decent shot of the place.

If you were selling your house would you include a photo of the kitchen with dirty dishes and half eaten breakfast on the table?

I guess it easy to be critical when we dont actually know the human element behind almost everything that goes on, the internet does that.

Never heard of it being done in Europe. First time I came across it in Thailand it was a bit of a shock but since then I've "sold" a few places myself at a tidy profit so I've learned to live with it. Price usually includes all add-ons and furniture and so on so it's not too bad although I doubt there'll be much interest here for this one without any mention of the number of rooms, location, or length of lease. If somebody's going to post an ad all relevant details should be in the ad. Agree with FF about checking out the owner, many of them are right knuts.

Would it be a fair comment that one also must take into account the tea money one must pay to the boys in brown. ?

Bars always seem to be a lot of trouble to me especially if you got working girls in there, as so many owners come to grief.

I am very interested. But can I see photos of the staff? Without staff a bar is just an empty room. So please post the photos here. If you have good staff would even take the staff without bar.

Just around the corner from my house. Has loads of punk-rockers outside at night-time, if it's the place I'm thinking off. Otherwise been looking a bit empty for a while. Not a bad location though. Could be a good buy for somebody.

If the lady almost sleeping does not snore it is a great deal. The other ladies seem to be Russian. They make a lot of problems since they do not want to sleep and just want to have their (own) money. Could I have the bar with the Thai lady only??? Promise that I will not wake her up.
