Overlooks the bay, and has a pleasant breeze all day. About 3 minutes to the beach.
Still and all, it is 15 kms to Pattaya, and that's where the money is.

It happens. A retired Swedish couple built their dream house on Phuket for 11 million Baht. The owner of the land next to it, then opened a pig farm.
It was in the Phuket Gazette a few years ago.

Cash works, legal requirements stick it in a Thais name, or get a gold card thing that lets you sort of own up to a rai I believe, or invest a real large amount in govt specified bonds for god knows how long and then you can buy it.
