How much are you willing to pay? I've got a 100% clean sheet on mine with no negative feed back and would consider selling.

MtD has a valid question for mine .

Why buy an existing account when you can set up your own ?

Smells of a scam / something to hide .

Exactly. Your account would have to be linked to Paypal. I don't think it's possible to buy someones account. If you could you'd be able to buy one on Ebay surely.

    Here's a read.
I wanted to comment on one of the articles in the latest Auctionbytes newsletter you just sent out, the one regarding services who sell eBay accounts to people. I was really disturbed to read the article, especially because it didn't seem to emphasize strongly enough what a severe policy violation it is to buy and sell eBay accounts, in addition to the huge taboo it is for suspended users to circumvent eBay policy by resuming their eBay activity under different User IDs.

Frankly, I'm completely shocked that eBay hasn't taken any legal action against these companies yet, or at the very least doesn't appear to have taken action against the users who are violating these policies. I know from working at eBay that all it takes is for someone in Trust and Safety to notice that the name, address, etc., basically all of the original registration information on an account has been changed, and that account is immediately suspended. And if there's any possible way to connect the current user to a previously suspended account, in almost every case, that person will NEVER be able to use eBay again.

Anyway, I was primarily concerned that your article might convince some people to pursue this option, quite possibly to their detriment. Shame on these companies for trying to sell people a service that is blatantly in violation of some of the most serious eBay violations.

Incidentally, I forwarded the article link to a friend of mine on one of the Fraud teams in Trust and Safety. Hopefully it's just a matter of time before these accounts and the sleazy companies who sell them are both taken down permanently.

What type of halfwit would buy an account that is free to set up in the first place
As long as you have a Thai bank account then it is easy to do.

^ They want to buy accounts that already have a good 'seller reputation' score.

Since found a web site where I can buy one.
Thanks for all the help and comments.

My account has been flagged because of the items I sell
brand name policy etc So I needed a 2nd account as a back up
I'm not looking to scam.Once you have one eBay account it's not that easy to set up a 2nd one hence me asking for help

    see below
After reviewing your eBay account, it appears that you have violated eBay's Trademark Violation - Unauthorized Item policy. As a result, we've taken the following actions on your account:
    - Your selling privileges have been temporarily restricted. You won't be able to list or revise items for 30 days. You're also not allowed to register a new account during this time.
    - Violating listings have been removed. A list of items that were removed can be viewed at the bottom of this message.
    - Any fees for listings ended early because of this violation will not be credited to your account.

Your listing was removed after the rights owner reported it as counterfeit. We urge you to contact the rights owner directly for more information about why they requested the removal of your listing and whether you can relist the item.

Genuine brand names are sold on Ebay. What's Ebay's "brand name policy"?
