Selling used houses is well difficult, supply outstrips demand and Thai's love new because they are scared of ghosts and inside thier tiny brains they think they are showing off a bit more with a new house.

Go about 15km south on the Pasang/Li road, there's a large temple on a hill to the left. It'll take you most of the day to climb the steps.
