Hard to know what that's been "treated" with...

How long did you have it outside Mandy?

Observation in the last teaching week of term...and book scrutiny.

    What is "book scrutiny"?

Amounts paid by parents to ensure a pass mark, names of students expelled from the class, number of times you have run screaming from the classroom....?

^ To make sure we are marking books and filling are lesson full of edu jargon.

    Observation went well

    Positives

Excellent classroom management - I thought it was good rather than excellent, but I have high standards in this regard.
    Well prepared
    Differentiated and exiting materials
    Engaged and happy students

Negatives- which where some input would be welcome

    Too strict!

Got pulled up on basically getting the kids to sit quietly and listen before an activity- they have 10 secs to show me they are looking ready to learn- they can either gain or lose a single "class dojo" point.

I also reprimanded a student for trying to unplug the TV mid circle time.

Best part: My shyest students decided to show how much English and confidence they had picked up- best part of my day.

UB in winter had its advantages!
Your beer will be ice cold by the time you have walked home from the shop!
Do you smoke? You'll save a fortune in winter; just ditch the ciggies and take a long deep breath of smokey UB air.

    Bad news for Santa though...
The text is about Santa before visiting UB and Santa after visiting UB.

^ It's a service they offer. Soi 10 Sukhumvit next door to the BJ shop. They put you in one of them, fill it half way with Nuru gel and then a tiny waif of a bird slips in as well and off you go. Best to have a shit prior to starting though but heh, learn from your mistakes and all that.

I've upset the twats on NTD, Momo seems particularly salty this morning. NTD, it's so shit even Momo and Watdog can't be bothered to troll it.

In other news, I'm hungover thanks to the ol' stereotype of Russians being unfriendly being total bs. So.much.vodka.

I suppose in interesting (but depressing) news is that air pollution is now so bad that a petition has started to list it as a human rights violation.
