That's true.. lots of them in Fukuoka even... overhear them speaking Thai.. they love Uniglo clothing company (so do I) like Kmart but a billion times better... more than worth the ticket just to snap up a new wardrobe of clothes..

Always nice to bump into Thai people...

*don't go there BB.. I know what you are thinking heh...
    Hey Dick,

As a real estate "investor" myself, I am wondering why would you want to buy a property in Japan when you later on mentioned that there was a 60% loss of value to your family members.

I am a bit puzzled by this devaluation as the purchase was 17 years ago way after the Japanese asset price bubble.

    ^ Simple, they bought new..

They don't/didn't buy their home with view to capital gain.. in fact they knew it would devalue heavily.

Investors usually stick to the 2nd hand market (smaller 1-2 bedroom apartments) close to the main lines in Hakata have yields of over 10%... but little to no capital gain to speak of (unless you are lucky)...

All right. Interesting how that works in Japan while in Thailand the ghetto shitholes
    appreciate massively.

Good pics btw. Always wanted to live in Japan instead of Thailand.

^ ขอบคุณครับ That means a lot to me, na rak mak.

    Thank you. Apology accepted.

Sorry, I'm ultra sensitive about such things, just call me a fag or something like my mates here do. (yeah, that means you BB, Dill, Ice, etc, etc) thank Trump for "etc" cause there is a loooong ass list that love to call me names haha

Anyway, that's why I always have faith the Thai people are jai dee... and I am a loyal diehard supporter...(mainly) and manly heh

^ She admits she was just goading me (spoken in anger) to get under my skin... I'm online in skype with her now... I'm not a liar and I'm a faithful husband..

*was a right cnut before marriage though.. I fully admit. Still not an angel, but have reformed my wicked ways. No time, energy, or inclination to chat with anyone other than rat, whom is just a friend... kinda, sorta... (we have never met).

We have a love, hate friendship of 3 years. She can be annoying as fook (so can I) but she's a good person. A bit flirty, attention seeking, egocentric, desperate need to feel popular, but not a bad lady.
(so she's basically my personality, but on horse steroids).

She said someone (won't mention his name) scolded her for her comments against my wife...(well, not exactly "against", but certainly derogatory towards my wife, ya feel me guys?).

    ^ Thanks bro! yeah, nah..

I know I wasn't in the wrong. But on that occasion - just encouraging the girl...shows she has a conscience, it's not easy to apologize, it takes a big man (or woman) or in-between to 'man-up', and do it.. heh..

    Good on her..

Gigantic sinkhole swallows NZDick in Japanese Fukuoka city

    VIDEO
Huge sinkhole swallows street in Fukuoka, Japan - BBC News

A giant sinkhole swallowed a five-lane street in the centre of one of Japan's biggest cities on Tuesday morning.
The collapse began at around 05:00 local time (20:00 GMT Monday) near Hakata Station, the busiest in Fukuoka city in the southern island of Kyushu.
It began with two smaller holes that grew steadily until they formed one huge depression around 30m (98ft) wide.
There were no reports of serious injuries but it disrupted power, water, gas and transport links in the area.
Broadcaster NHK reported that an elderly lady slipped on some stairs because of the power cut.
Engineering work to extend a nearby underground train line may be related to the sinkhole's sudden appearance, city officials said.
