Just bought a bottle of water. Any thoughts on the name and branding?

I would immediately assume it was a bad translation of " My water "

Small black children labour for days in the hot sun for little pay to extract your fresh water from mines.

    Blood water, shame on you.

It does seem a strange choice of picture. I'm not sure how the picture relates to Korean culture...

It was more than double the price of other bottles of water, so it might have some kind of charity link?

Don' drink it, read the label for crying out loud, haven't you been taught to read the label.
Mine water contains arsenic, a poisonous agent used to extract gold ore.

I don't think any Germans were involved, and I don't think that it came from an exotic place such as in Grumpy's pic.

I suspect it's tap water, well marketed to be sold at a ridiculous price.

    ^

It couldn't have a much worse reputation than Nestel's "Pure Life".

Drain the groundwater rural villagers depend on, bottle it and then sell it at prices they can't afford to pay.

All branded bottled water is a ripoff.
Petrol, finite resource, needs to be found, drilled, pumped, put on ships, refined is massive factories, put on ships again, put on trucks and finally gets to the shop for a dollar a liter.

Water, infinite resource, falls out of the sky, get it from the tap, filter it, give it a fancy name, truck it to the shop and it's five dollars a liter.....

assuming Nestle haven't sucked all of your local water supply out of the ground for free, put it in bottles, and shipped it elsewhere.

There is something between falling from the sky and getting it from the tap. Reservoir, pumps, pipes, valves, digging up the roads ..........

read somewhere that bottled water costs 10k times more than tap water..

Wonder how we survived all those 1000s of years drinking untreated water.....?

Great marketing has us paying mega prices for stuff and labels/brands we don't need or offer any significant advantage......... usually by instilling FUD factor ..fear uncertainty and doubt..guess appealing to ego, "face" and perceived social value has a lot to do with it.

In the end we convince ourselves that this or that product, service, doctrine yada yada is the best ...almost viciously defending a position with which we have been initially indoctrinated. ...funny animals that we are.

Cannot wait.... gonna go line up...for my new I-pad 99 who cares if is built using child or slavish labour, depleting and polluting the planets resources...

I wonder if I should bottle our rainwater from the roof.
The bird droppings add an unique flavour and make it the malt whisky amongst bottled water...

There is, but yet is still only costs a fraction of a cent for a liter of tap water...
