There's a music scene in Thailand?

All I ever hear are shitty pop & lurve songs.

And the obligatory Thai coverband doing Winds Of Change.....badly.

Guitarman at the river end of Soi McDonald. I'm sure they'll have some guests around over the holidays.

I like that place in Chiang Mai where there is a horseshoe of live music bars. Cant remember exact location or what theyre called but there is a rock one, a reggae/ska one and one with sand on the floor.
Think its open every night, I've had some really messy nights in there. Including one time when I was so drunk on shitty Thai whiskey I got on my bike, drove ten metres to the road and fell off! Suffice to say, bike got parked up for the night!

The Riverside and the one next door that I was sat in last night and the name escapes me (On the Walk maybe??) both have live music.

You've got Rock with Panda or whatever it's called and many others all around Nimmanhemin and the Soi's around there.

Although i've never been in The Queen Victoria always seems to have a band on and The North Gate also seems to be very popular and I think they have an open Mic night on a Tuesday.

The UN Irish bar has music and an open mic night on a Wednesday but the last time I was in there me and the missus made up the majority of the crowd!

    Plenty to be found!
