Red face A silly little question about zipper repairs

Hi all, and thanks for an entertaining forum. We are visiting Chiang Mai for the second time in February (must be something about the place, we don't usually go anywhere twice) and my other half wants to know if there are street tailors around who do cheap clothing alterations and zipper replacements and such.

We lived in China for a while and there were street tailors on every second corner there who were great. We used them all the time. But we didn't see them in CM last visit. Did we just look in the wrong places?

Tony

One usually set up on the corner across the street from Tha Pai gate in front of a Pharmacy I think it is,, she does good work.
Most of the little shop front clothing shops have a seamstress in res.

Another you can try, opposite McCormick Hospital 133 Kaew Nawarat Rd., are ladies with sewing machines that do repairs on the footpath while you wait.

Yes, another good source of info, and while you are there waiting, go across to the hospital and at building #11 behind the hospital, you can go to an AA meeting in the am or pm if there at the correct time.
