    Rental Accommodation for KMs Mate

I have a mate who is moving to CM next year, but his wife and son are coming on the 5th December. The son is booked in to the Lanna Intl School so they are looking for something near the school...
Anybody who has some practical suggestions please let me know as I am not familiar with CM.
    Cheers
    KM

That's on the Hang Dong Road just past the airport. Actually not far from the house that Ant was trying to rent to Bung.

Excellent. Ant do you have a house to rent? My mate wants to rent first and then buy later which seemed a good idea.

do you have a house to rent?
Not to seem unhelpful or a pain, but the answer to that question is maybe. Basically we're looking at buying a new place (in the same moo-baan) so if that eventates then we'd most definately rent ours (even with a view to selling it). We simply need a bigger place; our current house would be perfect for a 3 member family however.

Trouble is it's highly unlikely we'll be organised in the timeframe you've mentioned (5th Dec right?). Not impossible, just unlikely. All of that being said our moo-baan would be perfectly located for your mates needs (school etc) and there are other places currently going for rent so it would be worth his time checking it out regardless. It's also very quiet and peaceful, great place to live (our current home and intention to buy another there's testament to that). Prices, rent and buy, are reasonable too.

If your mate wants to check it all out, possibly talk about rent/buy options on our place or even just get info on others and the moo-baan, feel free to put us in touch. Happy to help if I can.

Oh, I should also add that there's another moo-baan right next to ours which is apparently just as good as well (if not better, it's newer). So wouldn't be a wasted trip as he could check both out.

That's great Ant. They are coming on holiday first so they can stay in a hotel I guess and link up with you from there. Certainly makes a difference having someone in the know when you first arrive in a new place.
I'll email Paul and he can take it from there.
