Night bazaar Condotel - rip off

I rented a room at Night bazaar Condotel. The room was run down with many holes in the carpet. But it was a good price, so I took it.
When I checked out, the manager charged me for one of those holes in the carpet (which I did not cause). of course I couldn't prove my case, and the manager just shaved 2000 Baht off my deposit.

So be careful if you want to stay there.

If you're leaving a deposit for anything, shoot photos with your phone.

I once stayed at the PooKum Inn near the Night Market [about 10 years ago] and it did!

run down, smelly Elevators, power went off, no AC! was only a Breaker but I couldn't see it in the dark

plenty of good places still in Cnx I'm sure!

    Hear you bro.
If you're in Bangers, stay well clear of the Adriatic Palace Hotel too.

I had a friend stay in a block opposite the main hospital in Chiang Rai once, he had little choice at the time because he was broke, incapacitated and had months of rehab at the earlier mentioned hospital.

4200 a month, aircon, wifi, some English channels on the TV.
Wasn't the Ritz but the place was clean and well run.

Full of student nurses who made a bit of noise going to work in the mornings but he never complained.
And the end of the fight is a tombstone white with the name of the late deceased,
And the epitaph drear: "A Fool lies here who tried to hustle the East.

^ I miss him terribly. He kept things going. A little like Fredwiggy in someways. Too many intellectuals on here now all trying to prove how intellectual they are. FOJ.

Can we have a definitive list of multinikers, past and present? I find it very confusing.

Actually I do know a bit about the Night Bazaar Condotel, my wife and I rented rooms there from 2009 - 2015.
Used to be a great place to live in the early years, then a couple of years ago this bitch from Hell took over running the place and pissed everyone off. She would have been there around the time the op stayed there.
Apparently she is gone now so it might be ok again. We lived in three different rooms on the fifth floor, good clean rooms, about 5,000 - 5,500 pm.
Good place to stay, walking distance to Loi Kroh, Wororot, Night Bazaar.
