G&M Sausage Chiang Mai - how to?

Can anyone please give me clear and concise directions from Chiang Mai (say start from the H'way 11 - 1006 X roads) to G&M Sausage at Muangton. No GPS co-ords please.
    Thank you.

I found the GPS co-ordinates on a German site but do not know where the 106/Hwy 11 junction is so...

Anyway if I found it I am sure you can. Just pop the coordinates into google maps and follow the directions. I.e. drive 14.3 kms to Doi Saket , turn right onto 1014 and drive 7.1 kms etc.

    Thank you Gents.

By the way VocalNeal, I wrote 1006 not 106, no wonder you couldn't find it!! Basically the X roads I was talking about is where the 1006 San Kamphaeng road intersects with the inner ring road, H/way 11. (If you keep going from the X roads in toward town you'll come straight to Narawat Bridge).

So you probably gather I'm not from Chiang Mai and I'm not a PC guru I simply have an inquisitive streak. I did email a swiss friend of mine who lives up there just in case he hasn't been there.

Ok well it say go 6kms-ish on 1006 turn left onto 1014 then 6.9 kms on 1014 then turn right etc..

^ Yes we know. My reply was a response to the no GPS coordinates comment which is the only way I could find my way there. Not by using a GPS device but simply by following Google maps or bing Maps suggestion which the OP seems reluctant to do.

Funny spell check doesn't like Bing Maps it wants Bung Maps so now we are all screwed!

I'm old skool I was brought up using maps and landmarks. I ride bikes without a GPS and don't have a car passenger seat to lay a map out on. I'll study a map at home, jot directions, mileage and landmarks down on a small piece of paper, sling my leg over the machine and go for it! You learn to keep your eyes absolutely peeled for a myriad of landmarks as opposed to watching a handlebar mounted screen and listening to a disembodied voice telling you where to turn.
I'm also piss useless with computers so "following Google maps" doesn't really do it for me...... can't take the laptop on the bike can I? I'd rather dig out me GT Riders maps and plan a route.

Exactly what I do. In this case find the place on Google maps get a mental map of where I am going, get directions from and to, print out said directions or write them down then head out. The only thing you need is a functioning odometer and in my case a piece of paper to do math if odo doesn't have a trip function.

There is indeed HB (oops, not to be confused with Harris Black nuh?!!), and thanks to ชีสเค้ก for it too! I shall be following it religiously once I return to the Rose of the North. Meanwhile I'm stuck in Cairo, during Ramadam, and can only dream of khaa moo grob!
