    Bike Rides In Rural Suphanburi

Most mornings I've been 'hitting the road' on my 10 speed with the longest run to date of 30 km round trip from the house to Don Chedi.

Did a shorter run today as rain is imminent. A pic of my old bike on a bridge over the Ta Chin River. H2O levels have dropped last few days. Must have opened a dam somewhere downstream as there is a lot of flooding around Suphan City:

It's a nice flat run and I can make good time on these roads. Nothing so scenic as other parts of Thailand. Rather bucolic would be my term for this area!

The ubiquitous Chaw Naa (rice farmer) getting his Naa ready for the next planting. They do 3 plants a year around here as opposed to the two in Issan. Water is plentiful. This guy always gives me a friendly wave as I go by...

    Another landscape shot:

There are a few nice houses on my route and this one below is quite beautiful. I think the owner has some sort of lumber mill.

    To be continued...

Looks very similar to the rural areas around Bangyai where I go biking. Would be nice to see those pictures enlarged a bit to bring out the detail. As for the Ta Chin river, thats also very near Bangyai and there are boat trips you can take along it to enjoy the view.

    Nice thread

I use ACDSee that was free software with Windows but if you havn't got it you can download it from Cnet at this link :

ACDSee Pro 4 - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Once you have it and put your pictures through it you can resize the bytes by using the two little flower symbol on the left. Teak Door also resizes pictures a bit by double clicking on the image. Good luck with it. Its a bit like learning to ride a bike. Tricky at first but once you've cracked it you can have a lot of fun with your pictures.

    For example :

    Very pretty

    Good stuff.

I have been doing a boring route recently - I'll try and get some pics of it next time I'm out.
