    Saraburi Trip Advice

The wife and I decided to take the family to Saraburi and Chok Chai Farms since we didn't plan early enough for Hong Kong. We will have 3 boys ages 14, 10 and 4 plus our daughter 1.5. I want to stay at a resort that has fun things to do. I remember seeing quad bikes and tubing down a small canal etc but can't remember the resort name. Basically something to keep the boys amused in between sight seeing a playground would be nice too.

    Any advice?

    Thx

How long are you staying for? Saraburi in general has nothing apart from Muak Lek which is just up the road on the way to Pak Chong (about 15 km's before Chok Chai), this has waterfalls, quad biking all that lark..but so does Chok Chai farm. The farm itself is pretty much done in a day..after that you have Pak Chong a couple of Km's up the road which has Khao Yai National Park..but I'm not sure your daughter would appreciate it much..
You've also got the Thong Somboon Club in Pak Chong which has all sorts of rides and stuff for kids..again, done in a day or less.

All about your time frame really..

Resorts in Pak Chong town itself are fairly limited,,although if you look further towards Khao Yai, there are dozens and dozens of them, many of which should cater for the kids..

I haven't, but have heard of it through its apparently excellent reputation..many others down that stretch of road to Khao Yai but Bonanza seems to be the most popular.

I have been! a few years ago there was the Thai International Mountain Biking (bicycle) Race Championship up in that area and I stayed at the Bonanza. Nice place at least one swimming pool as I recall at the main lodge/condo area and maybe another out and about with the bungalows. There is a lake with fish in it. Lots of open land. There is an orchid farm nearby and is or at least was ownerd by the Bonanza owner. There are several tour groups that offer night safaris and green safaris through Khao Yai.

It has been a while since I was there but this is the way as I recall itl
