Ceramic supplies needed - where to buy?

I would like to make some small ceramic models (about the size of a coffee cup), then have molds crafted from them once finished.

Can anyone recommend where I could get clay and tools for this small project?

Haven't a clue where to start looking in BKK.

    Thx

JJ market is probably your best bet for the tools...

a visit to Koh Kret island might score you a small amount of clay...

of course the best clay for ceramics is in Ratchaburi Province where there are at least 50 ceramics factories...

JJ Market? I know of Sampeng, and I'm considering going there. Where/what is JJ market? Is that Jatujak?

Koh Kret Island and Ratchaburi are a little far for me to go for some clay...anyplace closer I might go?

    Thanks

you can get the plaster for the molds from dental supply places

as mentioned, clay from the factories would be the best bet

what tools would you need? I have made my own in the past

As far as tools go, I just need some for sculpting. I forget what they are called, but they have various blade shapes for removing clay.

I want to make a small, square building. I may have to separate the roof and place it on top when finished for a mold to be made. It's been years since I made something form ceramic (elementary school?), so I completely forget the details.

I've been thinking about it, and I might get away with making the model then having a factory make a mold for me. It may be easier that way.

Can anyone recommend what would be appropriate for a model of this type? Clay or plastercine maybe? Another type of material?
