I'm pretty sure I saw these in MBK, but a long time ago. It struck me that someone as famous as George Foreman must be pretty hard up to be selling grills. Same for Paul Newman sauce.
Dunno about hard up
Paul Newman donates all the profit revenue from his products to his charities, can't knock that.Since its introduction in 1995, over 100 million grills have been sold. George Foreman himself has made over $150 million from the sales of his grills[1], more money than he made during his entire boxing career. The grill is said to "knock out the fat".

I just wonder when I see famous people apparently selling mundane stuff. On more than one occasion I have worked for firms representing the supposedly rich and famous only to discover they weren't making a cent out of their showbiz career, but they are able to use their fame to promote something else that makes money. Perfume, clothes, etc.
So is Mike Tyson selling Amway now?
I didn't know about Newman' profits. Good for him, so was cooking some kind of hobby of his?
I like to cook. When I am rich and famous I will donate all the profits from my 'FriscoFrankies Five Alarm Chili' to The FF Home for Wayward Girls. I have already selected a location on Loi Kroh Rd and have been quite busy er uh, interviewing, yeah interviewing, candidates for inclusion in the program.
George Foreman has come a long way. I remember a friend of mine getting knocked out by him during a disagreement over the distribution of goodies from a 'Care Package' from home while in the Job Corps. The Job Corps was sort of a conditional release for juvenile delinquents. This was my friends one claim to fame before being shot over some backstreet rip. if he would of been the one to knock out George, I wonder, would his life have gone differently?

Apologies for the off topic post but George and this other guy were two of the same kind. They liked to take things from people using their physical strength and abilities. George was better at it, I guess. it was his ability to kick his fellow 'wards' asses that got him noticed and started him on his way.
Nothing against the man at all, he's taken what he was offered and re-made himself. I just can't help thinking about the other dude, dead in some tenderloin back alley, every time George Foreman is mentioned. Maybe it was the ukulele and not the boxing that saved George?

According to PeterPan's post, $ 150,million. It wouldn't surprise me.
Doh: Didn't read the quoted text.
On January 8th, 2008, while on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Hulk Hogan admitted that he was originally to have been offered the chance to endorse the grill, but missed the phone call while he was picking up his children from soccer practice.
Yeah but Hogan probably thought they werr trying to sell "girlls", which is why he didn't get involved.
I opened up a can of worms here, I personally thought when the greatest footballer started to advertise viagra all my dreams had been shattered hehe
or maybe other things rose
i don't have a George Foreman grill, but I did purchase a gas grill from these people. I use it alot!
