Rose Bar now has a sister bar on Street 136 called Pussycats. Plenty of squeekers in there. If you get bored, 69 Bar and 136 Bar are next door, also full of squeekers, and Bogie and Bacalls is across the street.

Ok, when I was in PP, went to the "infamous" 104 streets and here is my review:

1. Rose Bar
Quite good, nice vibe, nice music, nice bench, drink OK, girls below average, not ST material unless you are desperate and have no taste like that mink MtD

2. The Pickled Parrot
Empty, boring, unless you are a retired old men and like the company of wall flies and like the silence when taking a beer. Definitely nothing to do there, or maybe it was a bad night (no football for the hooligans ?)

3. The bar across the street from the Rose Bar (can't remember the name)
Full of tired old sexpats, mostly French, horrible mingers, music from the 80s, very small bar. Cosy in a not exciting kind of way. Definitely not whoring material, unless your name is MtD of course

4. "104" is a actually a nice bar at the end (or begining) of that very small soi. Quite "hi class" compared to the other dumps. Better looking girls, better music, nice cocktail menu, the place feels quite nice. Possible barfine material if you are really desperate or too lazy to go elsewhere or your name is not MtD

5. Martinis
Ok this last one is not in street 104, but there is not much to say about that street anyway as it's full of hooligans and old men trying to hookup with old girls, so not really interesting at the end. Ok for a drink and for the curiosity, so still funny in a voyeur kind of way. Ok back to Martinis, so you need to take a ride to get there ($1 or $2) from 104, not too far. This is by far the ONLY decent place to take a ride home. I got there a bit late, so I missed quite a few hotties from what I saw "bargaining" outside with the farangs. It's mostly a small disco with an outside bar. Girls everywhere, not many guys, so it's a buyer market, mostly freelancers. Girls are definitely the best I saw in town, and they are not shy to ask you to go with them. Took an interesting one with blonde hair, easy going, no fuss, asking 30 USD for the short time (900 THB, fuck that's cheap). Definitely not a place for MtD

That's gone up loads - the going rate was $10 when I was there 3 or 4 years ago, could get it down to $7 if you became a regular customer...

What a bunch of skanky looking women, there's better than that in PP. Best looking women I saw were as usual not in the farang bars but in some nightclub I found at 4 in the morning. Some cracking looking girls in there, but didn't look like the friendliest of places and being the only white guy there I stuck to getting drunk.

aw man. that sucks ( sorry ) there were some rough birds in there right enough but always willing and never shy. in some ways much better than the bar girls who pretend they are "good" and have to chase.

stayed in DV8 a few nights and never thought much of the girls. does he still have that other bar up towards the Wat? ( cant remember the name of it )
