I would love to have a child... and to think this little child was deemed not worthy to live fucking kills me... I just can't fathom mans inhumanity to man...

Can't believe I missed this thread, I've a tear in my eye. I'm very well read up on the modern day history of Cambodia and it was one of a sole reason to travel to the region. Mathos; thank you so much for a detailed, delicate and well written thread. I wish I had your time, patience and structure to add to this thread.

Unfortunatly, I never talk about it, what I've learnt and read; there are so many people in this world who take all for granted.

It was diabolical, all of it.

The murderous malevolence knew no bounds at all.

    It's past normal folks understanding.

'Many and sharp the num'rous ills
    Inwoven with our frame!
More pointed still we make ourselves
    Regret, remorse, and shame!
    And Man, whose heav'n-erected face
The smiles of love adorn, -
    Man's inhumanity to man
    Makes countless thousands mourn!

Robert Burns coined the above many years ago.
All the women take their blouses off
And the men all dance on the polka dots
    It's closing time !

Thanks for your response to the thread Mr Brown.

To be honest with you, it gets harder to think about it
    with the passing of time.

I can totally understand and harmonise in opinion with your
    silence on these horrendous truths.

"We must be listened to: above and beyond our personal experience, we have collectively witnessed a fundamental unexpected event, fundamental precisely because unexpected, not foreseen by anyone. It happened, therefore it can happen again: this is the core of what we have to say. It can happen, and it can happen everywhere."

Barry & Pugin are the chaps to be familiar with if you have
    a real interest in Architecture.

They played no part in the creation of Angkor Wat though.

Angkor Wat combines two basic plans of Khmer architecture:

Temple Mountain along with the galleried edition.

Both perhaps based on very early South Indian Hindu.

Erik Von Daniken might convince you that these
early masterpieces, along with various temples
and monuments similar to pyramids found in South America
especially, along with various ground markings, plus
signs and symbols, have to be associated with
    extraterrestrial influences.

He may well have a point.

Science is it's own religion though, if it can't be proved, it can't
be accepted as anything above a conjecture, expression or opinion.

As for interior design, that's a simple system of taste applied to
the owner, resident or sitting tenant.
