Cambodia E-visa. Is this how it works?

So I'm flying into to Thailand, then through to Siam Riep a couple days later.

I bought my visa online for $28, printed out a receipt for it.

This is the site: Kingdom of Cambodia - Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation

I have a printed receipt for it and all.

Somehow feels sketchy. Have I been scammed? Or is this the way online visa for Cambodia work?

They should send an official looking piece of paper about visa size with your picture on it in four or five days.

    Print that out.

My first time to Cambodia. Thought it best to pre-prepare. I tend to do that (same as Vietnam).

I wasn't 100% sure on the landing visa policy, although I did get one on a visa run in Thailand a few years back (land border crossing).

    Live and learn, I guess.

    Edit: visa on the way.

A couple days fun in Bangers, then Cambodia it is.

Let's hope Bkk is not burning down at that stage..

Make sure u have one photo with you an sit near the front of the plane. 50% of those on the flight will be getting visas on arrival :-)

Vietnam does not offer visa on arrival BUT u need apply online for Pre approved visa

The site is valid but they add a couple of buck to do it online - not much. Next time just fly in and do a visa on arrival (always bring extra headshot photos)

    Got the E-visa today.

Made a slight fxxk up though. Entered my passport number incorrectly.

Any attempt to contact them is not happening. Called them, emailed them, tried to rectify it on their site - no luck.

    My bad.

    Any suggestions fellas?

    ^^

Turn up with the wrong number. If they notice just blow it off.

Of course, this might not work.

Will try this option. If not shell out another $20-25.

Do they still charge a "stamping fee" on top of the visa fee? Last time I went to the casinos I had to pay twice, but think I got scammed.

You mean their 500 baht "fee?"...I met with them and discussed this matter and told them I did not have to pay it because I already had everything in order, so I walked out and left them with no comeback...
