Thailand's Board of Investment agrees tax incentives for 13 projects

BANGKOK --- The Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) has approved tax incentives for 13 projects with combined value of 41.6 billion baht (US$1.35 billion). Among these projects are those of Thai Airways International, Mai Tan and Ajinomoto (Thailand).

Industry Minister Chaiwuti Bannawat said after a meeting of the BOI that Thai had asked for tax incentives for the acquisition of three Airbus A330343 aircraft with a total investment of 11.72 billion baht. The new aircraft will strengthen the airline's regional routes.
