Thai Airways to miss 2009 revenue growth target (Thai Airway Public)
BANGKOK, Dec 22 (Reuters) - Thai Airways International said on Monday it would miss its 2009 revenue growth target of 3-5 percent due to the global economic crisis and a week-long shutdown of Bangkok's main airports.
Executive Vice President Pandit Chanapai told reporters the airline was still working on a new revenue target for next year.
He also said the airline's "cabin factor" -- the percentage of seats sold-- was expected to fall to 70 percent this year, from a previous forecast of 73 percent, and compared to 77 percent in 2007.
