    Seminar craze in Thailand...

There is not another day without 1 to 3 mails about ongoing seminars advertisement in my emails...

I might take part to too many fairs where i have to leave my datas to enter those Bitec or Muang Thong Thani, probably from there they get the infos and forward the not for free invitation...

Seminars can be very interesting and one can always learn something new or profit from others experience.

This seminar range from 2'000 thb to 18'000 thb mostly for a day or 2...

Here the latest i received, should i join it ? It is 3'000 thb only for a day...

At the end of the subscription you can find this info:

Remark : The topic of this seminar will inform later

If i join it, at least i will learn what will be the topic eventually !

There was a marvellous seminar in early March concerning double taxation relief, aimed at the teaching community. The speaker had absolutely no connection with the current process whatsoever, but had worked for the Revenue Department 20 years ago.

Schools following his "advice" could wind up liable for some very large sums of money.

a lot of those speaking conventions are nothing more than scams,

one of the get rich quick guys was speaking last week somewhere in some expensive hotels,

I wonder how many Thai HiSo suckers get caught in those scams, tickets were like 20,000 THB

Yep but every year there is a new crop of teachers, Principals and other assorted newbies waiting to be taken for fools.

With just over 3 months left for this year’s budget to be used up, use it or lose it, expect plenty of seminars.
