The site has over 170,000 registered buyers that have purchased five billion bahtís worth of products. Over 200,000 items are listed on the site, 6,000 of which are processed agricultural goods.

Phoomrat said his agency believes the government should accelerate the transition to e-commerce through training and providing logistical and financial support, in order to achieve the governmentís policy of a market-driven economy.
