  | MQ Technology reports embezzlement at Thai unit MQ Technology reports embezzlement at Thai unit Friday January 4, 2013 KUALA LUMPUR: MQ Technology Bhd has reported suspected cash embezzlement of about 17mil baht (RM1.7m) at its Thai unit MPT Solution Co., Ltd (MPTS). It said on Friday, based on its preliminary investigation, the suspected embezzlement was committed by an authorised bank signatory of MPTS. It said the suspect was alleged to have made withdrawals from MPTS's bank accounts maintained in Thailand which were not approved for purposes authorised by MPTS. The suspect at MPTS was suspended with immediate effect. biz.thestar.com.my
