Those prices sound pretty cheap to me,I'll have the SS thanks.
How much per SS downpipe with the bends and the pop and everything, installed?
Do you have soakwells?
We do ,on the sand plain of perth, but they wouldn't be practical with most thai soil types, would they?
Where does the water go in a tropical downpour from the downpipes?

The UK has grade A,B,C, tiles aswell, most people would not notice the differance, We are talking maybe a 1mm differance in size per end of the tile, using grout the same color as the tiles tends to camoflage this quite well, but if your the one laying the tiles then you notice every size change as you have to allow for it on both sides, it can be quite saddening actually for a good tiler as he wants his lines nice and straight.

That's an ok price to cheap price as long as it's per meter length, but prices are going up at a rapid pace here for materials etc, So I think you done ok with that price.

I have just finished an extension on my house, I did not do any management whatsoever!!!!

I got the gf cousin to do all the hiring and a fixed price was done with all the house and yes they were a few extras but they were controlled so much so the builder walked on the job but after 95% complete...

all that was remaining was sub contract stuff like windows can't say inotice the grade of tiles but they do look like the same quality as UK if not better costs about £2 a tile and thats 500 mm SQ
