350,00 baht Muang Thong Thani???

I was recently vising a friend of a friend in Bangkok living in Muang Tong Thani condos. I saw a number of these condos ranging from 280,000 to 400,000 baht. These are basically studio apartments. Do these prices seem reasonable? Seems like an ok location near Kasikorn bank and Impact. I know a bit about construction and could probably buy one of these places and do some work on it during an extended vacation provided I can find the proper materials and tools. Could you find something better or similar in a better area for the same price? I'm lost when estimating the value of property outside the US.

Thetyim has disabled reputation
Friend of mine (thai) has to spend time in Bangers to cover exhibitions.
She bought a condo for 300k as an investment and to save on hotels.
I can't remember which area it is in but it sounded like a bargain to me.

Muang Tong Thani Cheap?

Yes, it is a reasonable price for that area if you want to or need to live there, as there are few transport options. You should take note of the fact that Bangkok is always grid locked with traffic and location is everything here, especially attractive are near to BTS & MRT stations . The price is fair for that area but dont expect to see much in the way of great increase in value. Sukhumvit next to the BTS is the place to see your investment increase the most.

Muang Tong Thani is a nice area. Has a Villa Mart, movie theater, some nice farang eateries, and a Fitness First at Central. I like the area except for the traffic and some of the riffraff that resides there..... Scampy lives in the area!!!!
