Stag Night/Nana Plaza

Afternoon All. Looking for some info re. the nana plaza. I don't go there very often. I have a mate coming from Scotland to get married. He's been here before but several of the people coming with him haven't. He fancies giving his dad a glimpse of the Nana Plaza. Any Nana fans out there? Which bars are the places to visit at the moment, and which ones should we avoid? How about any other places around soi 4 that might be fun for a stag night,

avoid Rainbow II and Rainbow IV like hell and go straight to Obsession or Casanova upstair on second floor. Casanova has great shows on the third floor.

A word of warning, you may want to read butterflys thread in the food and drink section about ladyboy bars, I wouldn't be suprised if he was recommending his favourite bars

but agreed with poster above soi cowboy (soi 23 sukhumwit) much better option for a group of guys....

Soi 23 might have a few good shows left, but it's mostly a boring place these days. And the girls aren't that great. NEP is where you want to go whoring, nowhere else. Patpong is worse than Soi 23 though. Except for those specialty bars.

Thanks everyone, sounds like a trip to the Cowboy and the Plaza may well be in order. Someone on Ajarn warned me about the bars on the left hand corner of the second floor of Nana.

If you go up to the 3rd floor in Nana they have a machanical bull wich is a great laugh just follow the signs. As for Cowboy I havent been there for years as it really sucked last time I was there.

I have organised a few stag nights over the years, and in most cases we basically start off in Soi 33 and then as the evening goes on, move on to Soi Cowboy. Long Gun and Rawhide are good, Midnight also, although you'd better watch the bill in the latter. Also Dollhouse and the other big go-go's rarely disappoint. If they do, just move on.

Nana is (and has for the last few years been) too mercenary for my liking and in addition, it is a fire trap and an accident waiting to happen. In short - go to Nana to get laid, go to Cowboy to have a good time (I am not implying that these objectives are mutually exclusive, but I am sure you get my drift).

Have fun. When the groom gets sufficiently ratfaced, you can always take him to one fo the ladyboy bars - do bring a camera!

I'm no expert on either place (honest) but of the few time Ive been to them Soi Cowboy seems the better bet, with the exception of the place that has the bull in Nana, which can be good for a grin if there's a few of you.

The few times Ive been to Nana I thought it was an over priced shithole, don't know about Patpong. I'd be tempted to take them to Pattaya personaly more of a party town
