Jariya at majestic travel. www.6522000.com has always done me and friends right over 20 years. Not the cheapest, but can clear seats and assist with other little things.

I always use kayak.com to find the best prices- then I'll try a local agent (because I like personal service) and use the online rates as a guide.

The Chinese airlines to the USA are the cheapest now. I flew China Eastern last year and they were not bad, and I'm flying China Southern next week. R/T to Los Angeles is about 900usd including all taxes and fees. I booked though Orbitz, but China Southern does have their own website.

Both carriers also fly to Europe. You change planes in Shanghai or Guangzhou.

I've flown China Air (Taiwan based) the last few times from L.A or Seattle and they were the cheapest at the time, don't know now. Beware the up to 6 hr layover in Taipei, though.

Business class is my preference, but the prices for business calls seats are unreal. I have seen BC seats go for as much as 5 grand lately.

I use miles for upgrades, however they have changed the rules so much on that getting an upgrade is near impossible.

There are cheap business class seats on Air India or Egypt Air- they're not the best airlines, of course, but the BC seats/service are OK for ~$2700 (though I wouldn't fly either one in economy).

    Thanks for the tip.

Do you they accept pay in Rupees or US dollars?

I believe they'll accept payment in goats, chickens, or pigs (well, perhaps not pigs...)

Poona Travel, just between Soi Rambutri and the main drag near Khao San. Never been disappointed yet.

I have been using the travel agent at the Federal Hotel on Sukumvit Soi 11 for 35 years. Good rates and he has even delivered tickets to me across Bangkok for free.

Sincerely cannot recommend Ryanair, they will screw you over in a heartbeat. After two bad experiences I prefer to pay the money up front and save the hassle.
