Crazed Farang At On Nutt Condo.

Last night around 10:30 .. I heard someone pounding on a door at the end of the hall.. Not like any kind of knock to get someones attention, But as if he intended to scare the occupant.

After 3-4 minutes of this I decided to walk down and see what was going on, When I stepped out into the hall I heard the guy (An American) saying "Gkan I'm never going to forgive you for this!"

I walked toward the end of the hallway cautiously, The man was very drunk, maybe even on something who knows, Once I reached the corner I peaked around and seen the guy, Naked laying on the floor in front of the unit door.. His clothes were by his head and he was talking into the bottom of the door.

Now I thought it was a lovers "quarrel" and for sure thought I should let security know, So I walked back to our place and shut the door. I can see the guard shack from off my balcony so I got his attention to come up, While I'm alerting the guards I hear the guy trying to kick the door down, Which he did successfully..

I walked back past the unit he was disturbing to go down and speak to the guard (The security obviously weren't concerned) and seen him inside, It seemed like he was talking to someone in the bathroom of the unit, I continued down to the office.

When I reached the shack I told them there was a drunk farang kicking in his GF's door..In my limited Thai I asked them to go look while I was at the front door of the condo building in case he ran out (Naked or not fok letting the guy run off)

The guards came back down with the lock in hand and said "Farang sleep" So I thought the guy passed out and the girl had left or something. I headed back upstairs and on my way noticed that the broken lock was still there, Meaning that the guards hadn't taken it.

What actually happened is the guy broke down multiple doors looking for this girl. Every room on the elevator corner ....Up to 4 floors he had kicked in... And all this time Nobody came out to see WTF was going on...Not one Thai\foreigner checked it out..
So I had the pleasure of talking to the guards and police all through the night to explain what I had seen and as of 3am they had not found the guy... There are cameras every where, And the door guard remembers his face because you have to have a key-card to get in....So I'm hoping they find the crazy fucker. He was certainly determined to let this girl know he wasn't happy...

Scared my 18 month old girl out of bed and had me pretty pissed off.

That's one thing that kills me about the mai bpen arai attitute of Thais in Thailand. I've had things happena nd witnessed very obvious, loud, violent incidents, and if a Thai will open their door, they just look over to where it's coming from and go back to whatever they were doing.

Do you know who this Gan is? Is she tall, long legs, one of her eys is always a bit red? Wouldn't surprise me if it's the one I know. She is known to get guys wrapped around her in a big way.

^No idea, We have lived here about 6 weeks and I only know a few people here, I know more now... One trip up the lift was with one of the families whose house was broken into, They had their laundry and dinner in hand on the way home. Later when the guards came back to ask me what I saw the same family was present...They had no clue.

The guy didn't take anything... Still a raw feeling of violation.

I used to live in Baan On Nut. Whilst I was there they fitted the dividing doors on each floor and put all the security camera's in.

There was a spate of robberies before the upgrades went in but it was bloody hard to make the management put the camera's in.

The guy was around 10 meters away from our front door...At first I chucked an empty tea bottle at the guard shack to get his attention because at first I didn't know what his state was (besides very drunk and angry) Shortly after when I looked at what he was doing he was laying naked on the floor so I thought he wouldn't be as big a threat.

Thats when I got my shoes on, Grabbed my weapon of choice and went down to let security know they needed to go look into it. Not sure why I opted not to call them, I don't trust the police back home, And only hear bad about them here. Guess I should have, Security did though.

I was mostly worried he might kill this girl, Because as I said he was very angry.

Many work at that School on Sukhumvit Rd, the industrial areas on Bangna Trad and a lot just stay there because the rents are a lot cheaper then upper Sukhumvit.

The SkyTrain has really opened the area up and there are so many new shopping centres (over the last 15 years) the area has seen unbelievable growth.

Then you have Onnut beer garden...........

Well one is furnished and has personal items in it, But nobody has repaired the lock and the clothes are still there, This is the unit on our floor.

All of the others were occupied but only one actually had the residents home at the time and that was the last one on the 7th floor..A young Thai couple.

And the last time I saw the guy he was looking under the door/laying on the floor naked, With his clothes at his head. Being that his clothes are still there I'd say he left naked. The police and guards went through all of the utility closets and stair ways and never found him AFAIK.

I know its speculating but I think he was using a drug on top of drinking, He was just too fired up to just be pissed. I guess a woman can do that to a guy too.

He was dirty, In fact. I'll go take a photo of the unit on our floor real quick.

Different building. I know, first thing I thought was, "Scampy's run amok." Apparently not, yet. . .

And that is exactly how it looks now. Door is still partially open and all. Granted there are cameras,, You would think management would have the door fixed and bill the owner or something.

Oh and sorry for the large photos, Taken with a shitty iphone camera.
