Must have been close, certainly the most impressive storm I have witnessed here. It's taken down trees, windows and glass doors here and there's laundry and debris everywhere outside. It even blew the paint off the wall.

No more pickled eggs for you.
Quiet here in the CBD, where are you ?
quite impressive,
got caught in it while getting out of the BTS,
roads have become rivers around Onnut
On Nut.
Nothing here in Silom.
On Nut was truly wild there for a little while. Violent rain and major wind gusts.
I was supposed to be in Thonglor having dinner. Apparently it didn't rain at all in Thonglor, and I get the distinct impression that the chef thinks I'm lying. Can somebody from On Nut call her?

pics would be useful,
That was no hurricane but certainly a good tropical storm. We have a couple of dogs milling about the apartment complex, and they know full well not to come into the building. They clearly thought the world was about to end as they were hanging about in reception.
My sympathies go to the poor pizza guy who made it here in the torrential rain down a soi that is easily 2 feet deep in water. Someone also decided to order out from a bar somewhere as we had a very pretty man in a dress preening himself in the lobby for a while. Electricity was intermittent for an hour or so.
I see fish. They are everywhere. They don't know they are fish.
a hurricane,.........Irene
