Good deals on flights from Bangkok to USA

Anyone know of cheap flights from BKK to USA. I am going to Las Vegas in June but could fly into another US airport and get a cheap domestic flight to LV.

    Any low price deals?

    Thanks.

Right now because of the fuel prices flights are high as heck. Tickets I bought in Jan for my kids to travel this April were about 40,000 apiece. Now they are 10,,000 plus over that. Airfares are through the roof in the USA as well. Search on here some Chinese airline via Shanghai. Let me have a look.

Also Jaryia at Majestic travel. www.6522000.com the phone number as well. I heard Delta is having a sale.. I will take a quick look.

54,000 baht return on Delta, only a plane change in Tokyo and LA not bad at all. Sad to say.

Check the adds in the BKK post . Low low fares but lots of other charges. Much cheaper west coast USA/BKK return than than the other way around.

Unfortunately the prices to NYC are ugly regardless.

Man, I miss the BKK-JFK non-stop on Thai Airways...

Same for the flight to LA on Thai, I would just start the journey there.

The gf did that flight once (when they just introduced it and giving out/selling promotion tickets) and said she’d never do it again. I think it was 17 hours in the air?

    17 is about right.

In the end it saved you several hours vs. making a stop somewhere, and Premium Economy was a great deal (basically a business class seat and economy class food for maybe 10K more than economy price)- you just need to get your mindset right, and it's a breeze (I took the BKK-NYC flight at least 5 times, and the BKK-LAX flight- which is almost as long- twice- it was the best way back home, imho).
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I did a search for BKK-LAX from June 15th-July 15th- there's a $1061 fare on Delta (there may be some other taxes and BS added on, of course) and many others at ~$1200.

The Thai Airways non-stop is $2262.

Yep, the best I can find so far is Delta BKK to Vegas or LA for $1061 or 32,000 baht which is not too bad for a round trip, unless anybody knows of anything better?

    Or this one:

    MoxTravel

Of course it depends on what time of year you fly. June is getting near/in peak holiday season.

Their cheapest to Vegas is Bt45,490 on Delta via LAX for a two week trip in June.

It looks like booking direct with Delta is going to be the cheapest.

Delta Air Lines - Airline Tickets and Airfare to Worldwide Destinations

BKK to Vegas or LA for $1061 or 32,000 baht almost anytime leaving June and returning July or August.

Wow, less than 1100 during the summer months, you better jump on that. It cost me $1700 last year to fly back in June from Hong Kong with United.

I want to go to Seattle in August but everything I checked inc. EVA and Korean Air is around 45,000 baht. I also checked German Asia Travel on Suk Soi 4 and they could not find anything less than that.

I did it with my mom, and if my mom didn't complain too much it couldn't have been too bad. Also took some nice photos along the way, over the pole this one:

To me it is worth a little bit more money to go direct, plus I never have any major complaints about Thai. Supposedly are going to restart that service to JFK, but who knows?

From the US, one option to look into is Jet Blue/Emirates who seem to be working together. Despite the stopover in Dubai, for the price it is a lot nicer flying Emirates than any US airline, and most Asian ones, too. Emirates is not part of Star Alliance anymore, so don't expect miles.

Ugh, I get restless on the 14 hr flight from SFO to HK, of course its okay if you have in flight entertainment, which most United Flights these days taking that route do not

Btw, there's a nice direct flight from Seoul to Las Vegas via Korean Air that arrives at about 5pm Pacific Time on Friday afternoon (I believe it leaves about 10pm at night from Seoul). I've taken this flight about 4 times in the past few years as I have a condo in Henderson and the only problem I've ever had was the terrible TSA staff at McCarran, those guys are probably the worst that I've dealt with. They questioned me quite a bit when I went home for Christmas last year about my travels across SEA, way more than they probably should have, especially the guy that ends up taking your customs declaration form.

Not leaving anything out. As an example, on the Delta.com website booking direct, leaving BKK June 6th and returning July 25th the price is:-

    Price per passenger 20,500 THB
    Taxes and fees.......11,800 THB
    Total....................32,300 THB

Less than $1,100 for the return trip. This is not a "one off special", it looks like Delta run these flights everyday at this price.

You are correct and I congratulate you. But you you have a 14 hour layover on return. Also you go through SFO with a 4 hour layover. Doing it alone easy. With kids a nightmare. Have fun.

Are you sure about that? It looks like ~18 hours BKK-LAX and ~21 hours LAX-BKK for total travel time.

As I said, that was just one example for price. Take a look at this one leaving BKK on June 6th and returning from Las Vegas on July 22nd.

    Outbound - 2h 50m & 2h 5m layovers
    Return - 46m & 1h 10m layovers

Total price including taxes & fees = 32,790 THB.

There are many flight options in this price range on delta.com

Ah- I thought LAX was a viable option.

    Carry on...
