I got a friend just came over, he's staying at The Four Points by Sheraton on soi 15 in Asoke

I was sat there at the rooftop bar last night, real swanky, just opened

They have some great promotions like a Sunday carvery for 350 baht

Buy 1 get 1 free on beers happy hour 5.30 to 7.30 Monday to Friday, which works out at 50 baht a bottle

But what took my eye was the "Beer BBQ" All you can eat and drink on Fridays and Saturdays 6pm til 9pm for 500 baht

How many bottles of beer do you think you could down in 3 hours?

I'm not sure if it's in the Beer vault on the ground floor or the rooftop bar.

I did like the rooftop bar though, lights up real nice

Thanks for writing this, I'm always looking for a good buffet in Bangkok. The Dusit Thani is excellent but runs about 1800 baht a person, but that includes lobster, and everything else you can think of.

Probably not if its a beer BBQ but if it does I'll be down there sharpish with Ms Bangyai. We can put quite a lot away between us plus I'll wear my long coat with deep pockets in lue of a doggy bag.

Finally got around to giving this a try. First of all, it is now 600b. Its a good value if you come early and like to consume a lot of beer. There is a list of several beers available the best being Asahi and Heineken - Singha, Tiger and San Miguel are also available. The BBQ is disappointing. The burgers are made with chicken and the rest of it includes grilled hot dogs, chicken wings and some very rubbery oven made steak fries. The bar itself is nicely lit but the barstools are a bad design because they have no foot rests.

Ever since taking advantage of the old all you can drink chang for 100B in the Cathouse NP years ago, and finding myself in precarious situations I've avoided all you can drink events like the plague... Sounds like a good deal though, might try it out.

Was definately 100 baht around 2001/2 as i foolishly partook a few times despite my dislike of Chang.

^ Looking back , can't understand why on earth I thought it was bargain. Taking into consideration all the capers that arise when your carrying a skin full of chang! I used to get in all manner of states. As I recall there was a deal on shorts etc too. Chang + tequila shots + NP , a recipe for shenanigans!!
