Curtain Hotels ..... ever use them ?

On account of the recent waves of relatives from East and West decending on chez Bangyai, the gf and I recently were obliged to use the service of a curtain hotel ( rongraem manroot )to get our rocks off in peace.

Just for once ( perhaps more ) the Thai name for these places fits the bill perfectly .....' manroot ' which is what they are primarily used for.

A short drive after breakfast took us to the Eric Motel Eric and Ernie would have been better )



This is on Ratchapruk Road in Nonthaburi and is conveniently placed in the discreet middle of nowhere. We drove in at 11 o'clock in the morning and were almost the only customers. The chief curtain puller nearly fell off his chair when a falang ( me ) pulled up and tripped arse over tit in his haste to close the curtains behind our car as we pulled into the space under the room. Grinning a toothless smile from ear to ear, we were ushered up to our sex den then he disappeared.

I didn't have my camera to take pics but the room was very nice and functional with a hot bath tub and two channels of porn plus a sort of weird sex chair thing in the corner for comfy muff diving. Just as I got down to my boxers there was a knock on the door and I had to pay the receptionist the 380 baht for the 3 hours. Slightly embarresing as my member was already straining at the leash and nearly popped out for a peep.

Then it was down to business with some Japanese bird moaning in the background from the Jap porno. The chair in the corner proved a letdown as it was built for Thais and was giving me neck ache before we gave up and used the very large soft bed.

Afterwards we had a lovely boiling hot bath and soaked away for 30 minutes while I polished of the complimentary beer from the fridge.
All in all , it was a very nice experience and now that we know whats out there we intend to try out a few more in the area.

Yes the Gimp chair is widely available, even in some places where you wouldn't expect it,as long as you ask for the use of one. I suppose it's just a piece of furniture that the cultures of the East have developed over the centuries.

The video of the Korean one shows a very sophisticated version. Here in South-East Asia, they are far more basic and not mechanical. There are many different types of design to these chairs ranging from the simple recliner with leg supports to highly engineered versions that put the Eiffel Tower to shame.

Chao Paya 2 and a lot of the big soapies have them as well as some of the short-time hotels. Someone told me once that the short-time hotels in the Nana Entertainment complex have one or two but I've never seen any in there and I've been to most of the rooms there over the years. ( Maybe they move them around.)
PB off soi 3 have them as do Annie's or they used to. I once had to use a short-time curtained licence plate hotel up in Nonthaburi and the room had one presumably made by a local welder out of tubular steel with plastic covered foam mats for head, back, bum and legs. It was very good as it turned out, since the whole contraption was adjustable.
Personally I wouldn't trust one of those sophisticated electrically driven Gimp chairs. With my luck, I might just get fucked to death.
