Bourbon Street has that exceptionally excellent Thanks giving Buffet tonight.
Get there early as you can wait 30 minutes for a table.
Well worth the wait, in any event. I ain't ever seen food quite like it before.
    They really got it right.

    Georgia Pecan pie!

    Blackened lamb chops

    Boudin

    oysters

    cajun turkey.

    Jambalaya

    Cajun sweet potato custard!

    Shrimps, salads everything was great.

    and on and on.

Sorry Herm but you must have missed the good old home cooking that American housholds have. It is a fine tasting food and should try a good home cooked American meal. And the Bar B Q's meats are just out of this world. Not so bland as the German sausage. But to each their own and what their respective tastes are.

you obviously haven't tried eating any real food in your life ever.

American traditional dishes are horrendous, ok if you are a cowboy with no other alternatives.

Of course you are right !
The Best B-B-Q comes from the States. American Pizzas are better then any italian.
But that dried up turkey meat is so tasteless, that you got to add a ton of gravy or ketchup inorder to swallow it.

I was just trying to wake up and provoke some turkeys here on teakdoor.
That ole turkey Mr. Earl even reded me. Got to get the ole geezer back for his tasteless RED.

I like those single serving pizza in Paris, I think that's Italian style with slight French twist like an artichoke heart?
Three good Italian places for pizza in Phuket.

Germans can't be expect to know good cuisine other than sweet white wine(leapfrogmilk), beer, bread, sausages and fermented cabbages. Just slight step above Korean cuisine, imo.
