Can anyone give me the names of cheap Hotels say within 1Km of the Chinese embassy in Bangkok.
By cheap I mean 1000~1500 Baht range.

The Palazzo hotel is near and in that price range, though I would be more inclined to stay on Sukhumvit, the embassy is easy to get to, next to fortune hotel.

Thanks! I only intend to stay one night. just long enough to get my Chinese visa renewed. Then I'm off down to Pattaya for a few days.

I checked with the Fortune Hotel, they have no rooms available for this Thursday.

China embassy is on the corner of Rachada Soi 3. There is a hotel about 200 meters up Soi 3 on the right side. About 1000 baht. Sorry dont remember the name.
Also Rama 9 subway stop is 100 meters from the China embassy. You can stay at many places on Sukhumveit in your price range
