Friend just arrived on 29th evening, what a mess,
long waiting time in plane before to allowed out,
Immigration, was a dreamwork before in Don Muang !!
Panels to show the luggage row is changing to fast form thai to english,confusing and not clear...
luggages mountains every 50 meter... lucky if you get it in the hour...

Nobody seems to be responsible or knowing something

Lack of panels and signs to show where to go...

Taxi's cannot be taken at departure, sorry mister go to arrival, here only unloading...

Finally took a free bus ride to a bus terminal where he had to choose another bus to reach bkk (kind of cheap charly friend)

Otherwise, yes pleasant for the eyes, beautifull airport!

My first trial is scheduled mid november, i think this is within reason to appreciate the place...

BTW, seems like lots of Thais are going by minibus to Bangkok from the provinces to check out the new airport.

my wife has just used the new airport, arriving international and transferring to domestic, thence to CM

no problems with anything

just like a real airport

The new airport has solely been designed to get sex tourists to Pattaya quicker so is nearer Pattaya, these things aint done without reason.
