Booking a one way flight from Bangkok to London

    Just hit a snag,

Found a bargain from BKK - LHR, 650 GBP for one adult and one child direct on Thai airways through ASDA travel based here in the UK.

I booked the flight which has now been cancelled, I have just been told that thier contract with Thai airways means that both passengers have to be UK passport holders for these prices.

any ideas of how and where to get around this or find flights as cheap. What did any of you guys do who have done this proceedure before?

    Ta

    To add,

I spoke to the phone operator who first said the wfe would get deported when she set foot on the ground, I replied she had a valid Visa to UK. So she then said the contract thing.

Is there a UK style number on the Visa I wonder

I always use EVA Air but you will find that if you book your flights through a company such as dialaflight.co.uk you will get them cheaper than what is quoted on the official EVA Air website.

Also, when you ring to get a quote if you tell them you have seen it (slightly) cheaper through another website then they will usually match that price/knock a few quid off their original quote.

Oh and depending on when you are flying you can usually just pay a deposit and they pay the remainder of the balance nearer the time.

Doesn't Brown Jnr get a free flight? Surely he's too small to have to pay for a seat.

^ He's over two now so needs his own seat

^^ That EVA is too expensive, I just found a flight with Kingfisher airlines, which is a 5 star for 32,000 baht for the two
