Got a txt from some friends inviting us to some 'music concert' behind Esplanade. I was tired so stayed in with me bottle of scotch.

Missus went only to come back to say she saw a really good band 'Palesco or something'. Checked on google, yup they were playing the Tiger Beer festival thing. One of my favourite bands around 98/99 time.

Well anyone catch 'em?

No, didn't know they were in town until your post. Sorry I missed them, it's not as if we get a good bands gigging here on a regular basis.

"Without you I'm nothing" was a great album, I still listen to it today.

Indeed, one of my fav albums of that time. not getting the opportunity to see many gigs out here is definitely a disadvantage. Pity that they aren't better promoted.

I went, they didn't play Nancy Boy or Pure Morning, but played everything else. Always good value. The stage and set-up were quite good, a very well organised event.

The most gay rock band in the world were good value.

Can't believe I missed out, not like we're spoiled for choice with decent gigs. and even worse, my missus got to tell me they were 'very good, you'd like for sure'.
