    KM wants a kitten.

Now that I'm home most of the time I think it would be nice to have a cat around the house. I'm not much of a dog lover, especially inside. But I do like cats.

So I've been looking around for a kitten and funnily enough my wife came home this afternoon with a lovely persian kittten about a month old. After playing with it for a hour she then told me it was not for sale. The neighbour just wanted me to see it! Bah...

So, anyone have any kittens that are overrunning their house?

Anyone know of any good websites for obtaining one of these?

I looked at the strangely named 'punchcat'...any others?

(Sorry mods: I looked for a 'pet' section but couldn't find one. If this is not the right place, please feel free to move it)

Or, you go here SCAD Bangkok - Home and give a homeless cat a new chance in life.
It's the right thing to do mate, instead of going out and buying a cat.

Get a short haired dog........I am not a cat person.

The missus come home with a pug and she is the first dog I have ever let stay in the house (due to the sighting of a couple of huge Burmese Pythons in the Klong).

What a wonderful dog, is completely clean, drops very little hair and never soils the house.

Great with the kids and she has a fantastic and obedient temperament.

A real friend and when I walk in pissed up at 4.00 in the morning.

Dogs. Remind me to much of us - obedient, eager to please, go along with everything regardless. While felines will cast a sense of chagrin and indifference. The look of "go fvck yourself" about them. Very pleasing. Want a watchdogs? Try geese....they're fun!!

To be fair I didn't know the difference.

    Siamese

    Persian

Some bird that someone else just uploaded but I thought it was worth posting whilst I'm here.

If I had to choose between the cats I'd go for the Siamese. The other one looks like it would get bits of shit stuck to its fur when It get old.

to be honest, regular cats in general have the sweetest nature, not siamese or persian, BUT in the end it comes down to how you treat them

    simple really

ah...thanks KW: however we were talking about the nature of the animal, not about how short or long the hair was...

I'm asking because regular cats are free while the Persian cats start at about 5k...and it would irk me to have paid that for something that didn't purr when I stroked it...
