The airport Novotel is more than adequate for most. free shuttle for airport transfers too, and it's convenient.

I Live in Minburi, 20 mins from the airport. I know a very good apartment block that lets rooms out for the night also.

I think it's 700-800 a night with breakfast, cable and internet.

I used to live there,a fantastic restaurant as well.

Not biased. Very good for the price.

    PM if you want details.

Taxi from Min to the airport, about B140

Why do you need one near Swampy when Swampy is only 25 minutes from downtown in a taxi?

Early morning flight and I have 2 youngs kids to get ready in the morning.... I would think there wouldn't be a problem with any traffic, if i was just around the corner from Swampy.

Im booked in to stay here for a night next week. Looks a decent enough place for one night, and it comes well reviewed. 5 minutes from the airport, plus you get picked up and dropped off as part of the price.

I've tried the Hotel Miracle about 10 min drive from the airport - not a soul there but me and the missus and a lot of secuirity. Must be a high-crime area. Not far from the Bang Na Mall. Anyhow, wouldn't recommend it although the price isn't too bad - 3K baht. Decent Chinese restaurant.
