A long weekend in Bangkok

Well, its been fun spending 60-odd hours here. Off to the Suvahabhumi soon and I'll be back at work in Hampshire this time tomorrow. Then its time to enjoy Christmas with loved ones and finish off the last few weeks of this maternity cover contract before heading for Brazil in mid Jan.

Spent Saturday night at a kik's apartment in North Bangkok, last night at a kik's apartment in south Bangkok, and today at a funeral. Nice of work to give me the leave at short notice, although it was only a day.

Whilst I was here, I was sure to get my fill of Bangkok - got beeped at a few times by motorbikes on the pavement, saw a couple of stray dogs with broken legs, got stuck in a hideous traffic jam, got a drunk taxi driver, got sunburnt, etc etc
