    Hello and welcome.

Check this place out.......1,200 Baht a night, clean, big rooms and right in the middle of the night life and the Emporium shopping plaza is at the end of the street.

The Sky train is very handy and probably my favourite place to stray in Bangkok.

Good luck and enjoy your holiday.

Close to Pratunam I would recommend Samran place, used to be about 800 baht and very good rooms.

In the heart of Pratunam, then it has to be the Baiyoke Boutique - goof value for the money.
    At higher budget,.....Amari Watergate

Unless you're there for wholesale shopping, I would stay around Sukumvit better

    Sukumvit area
I like Novotel at SiamSquare..walk to many major shopping malls.....and the siamSquare station skytrain which is the main central hub for all BTS routes.

That's all I can think of for now

Well, you can't have both. You either stay in Pretunam (not recommended) or on Sukhumvit or Silom.

IMO the best located of any hotel in Bangkok is The Arnoma Hotel. No idea about prices though.

Are the Sukumvit Hotels charging extra if you bring back a Lady to the Room? Any suggestions of hotels walking distance to Nana Plaza - around the 800-1000 THB range?

Here's a nice looking hotel off Rachadapisek.
I might give it a try next time in town and get to know another area.

Sukhumvit is getting tiresome with all the mutilated beggars and surly Indian touts and vendors. FTS

Swan inn, on soi 4, just down from nana mate, they won't charge you extra. Last I heard it was 600 baht a day, cheaper for a month

    AO you're right, I think I missed a zero

Stayed here in May, it's literally right in the middle of Pratunam Citin Pratunam Hotel Bangkok Thailand Official Site | Budget Hotel. Totally new and very clean.

Be warned but... as I said its right in the guts of madness!
