Ayutthaya from Bangkok airport?

What's the best why to get to Ayuthaya from the The International airport - Is there a bus or train I can take?

Easy-peasy. Go to the public bus station at the airport. Bus to Rangsit. When you get there, you need to cross the main road and ask for mini buses to Ayuthaya. They run til about 7pm, every 20 minutes.
