I shall to be staying about 5 minutes away from the Sam Yan BTS stop and wondered if there were any farang eateries / watering holes or other activities that you might direct me to.

I am looking in that general area as I prefer not to be hopping the BTS around Bangkok for proper meals.

Dish and Chips maybe?

Pizza?

A proper breakfast?

Ah, you had me confused for a while, Sam Yan is actually on the MRTA not the BTS and only 1 stop from Silom, where there is an abundance of farang eateries, Irish and English pubs etc.

The Roadhouse at the top of Suriwongse is pretty good, but the bar manager is a knob.

Actually the Roadhouse is a tad closer to the Silom MRTA than the English Pub
