So I'm going to BKK this Saturday to meet the on again/off again galfriend before I go off to America for a month of boredom. We'll be staying for 4 nights, and since I don't know very much about BKK (I avoid the city like the plague), I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good hotel that's nice and romantic and shit. My budget is about 1000 baht a night. Thanks.

Honey Hotel on soi 19. includes buffet breakfast for about 1000 baht.

I'm a big fan of the Windsor suites.
Stay there whenever I go down, which is about once a year.
Tai Pan is around 1200 baht.
Its very near Soi Cowboy so you can get a slapper if things go tits up with your GF.
I stayed in a great place called samran place for only 800baht a night. New rooms, clean and good service you cant go wrong.
Romantic? Ummmm nope :)
Myself, I like Asia hotel, which is near Ratchatevi Skytrain Station. Not romantic but it's nice.
Samran place is right around the corner from the asia hotel.
I didn't know that. Next time I'll look for it.
Go up 5 hundred baht it aint gonna kill ya and you'll get a hell of alot more lovin. Then I can recommend something romantic. I can get ya a real nice room for a grand, but it would be about as romantic as a bathroom at Major Cineplex.

This time on checking all I know I am gonna go with CMN, this is what I would recommend.
Well worth it as it includes a buffet breakfast as well. The rooms arent huge but for the rate its great and nice enough for the woman in your life for sure.
