    Apartment for rent in Rangsit

I am going to move to somewhere around Bangkok next month and I'm looking for an apartment around Rangsit. My friend said there's many cheap places there. They also suggested me to stay around Thammasart University, don't know why but they said that.

I know it's weird that I'm Thai but asking you about this stuff but, I just want to know what you think and I also know that you, rich Farang people can't help me.

One thing, I will stay there until July next year then I will move to Bang-pa-in, Ayuttaya where I plan to buy a house for myself.

So, next thread will be about "A house for buy in Ayuttaya".

there's a whole load of apartments around Rangsit University.

I very nearly moved into one myself - there is one on Roomfinder called 'Angel Homes' - rooms are fairly small though and start at 4,500B / month with air-con (some have hot water , some don't) :deposit was 8.5K though maybe cheaper for kon Thai?

I know a few other places as well.

There are many nice and affordable apartments near Rangsit University, Muang Ake. Take left before getting to Rangsit university's soi (landmark: seven eleven right at the left corner). Get to seven eleven soi, take right when you get to T-junction. You will see three or four nice apartments out there.

*don't forget to thank me for the tips*

GoW, try going around the moobans nearby and check out the townhouses. Some may have a 'for rent' sign on the gate. May work out better price-wise as you probably won't pay higher rates for water, elec, phone etc. Plus, should be much quieter and you'll have more room to swing as many cats as you like.

Godess, so you and Marmers will live near my backyard, Ca-oool! Feel free to borrow salt and rice from me anytime. Everybody I know who works in Ransit prefers to live in Ayutthaya. They claim that apartments are cheaper and more scenic.

You can get a decent place here from 3,000-8,000 baht, depending on your standards. There isn't any real estate agent around here that I know of. Most people just drive around asking random people if they know of anything. That is how I found several nice places by the river. However, there is some very nice deals outside of town near the Asian highway. This is where all the young homebuyers seem to go.

One thing to consider, if your ultimate goal is to live in Bang pa-in, is to go there first and live in a cheap apartment. You would surely find something nice within one month just by word-of-mouth.

If you do end up in Ayutthaya I could always ask several of my Thail friends to locate a decent place for you to live. Somehow Rangsit has never been appealing to me.

I know, apartments there are cheaper. I just found the apartment in Rangsit which costs 3200 Baht per month but in Bangpain costs only 2500 Baht a month which has the same thing, such as internet, furnitures, air, carpark, etc.

I will go there to have a look while I live in Rangsit. I want to buy it before I live there so when I move there, I can just move in immediatly. But what you just said, it's a good idea also.

This Sat, I will have a look at Tassanee place which is near Tammasart University. It costs 3200 Baht with Air/internet/bed/furniture/car park.

    Not bad, eh?

But, I'll look for another one which might be nicer and cheaper also.

Satureday, I went to book a room which is behind Thamasart Rungsit. There's air-conditoner, bed, wardrobe, internet, tables and chairs and car park of course which costs me 3200 Baht + 500 Baht (internet) a month. It's a nice place.

Then today I found another one which is opposite with Future Park. It's the same options as the first one but cheaper, 3100 + 399 Baht a month. I will have a look on 12th.

If ya booked the first one why are you looking at the second. Whats the difference 200 baht a month. Do choose the right one though.
