    URGENT- Bangkok expats request

Anyone know a kid friendly Aussie themed place that will be showing the Aussie rules?

My Sis & her hubby are in Bkk, unfortunately with their 6 year old daughter in tow- so they got turned away from the Office.

the Crows game is on right now, and they're desperate to see it. Any help appreciated.

I advised them to walk back to the skytrain along soi Cowboy.

a mate and I started a riot on Hindley street.

we were walking up to the mall and there was a tribe of blackfellas outside the video game place just down from the cop shop being tough boys trying to own the footpath so I just walked through the middle of them which elicited a few words and so my mate replied , fcuk off you black cnuts , then they got all cut up and rushed us with bottles and kungfu moves. we then started to back up the street trying not to get smacked until we came up against the cars coming out of the multistorey carpark and had a bit of bullshit with them. I looked over my shoulder and saw the coppers start running out , so I grabbed my mate and we legged it up towards the mall. came back about 15 minutes later and they had the mounted squad out quelling the excitement - funny as fcuk , and I reckon we fcuked up the boys dealing from the video game shop for the night - so we had a laugh and went to watch a few strippers.

I reckon Hindley St was in it's heyday in the 70's and early 80's, back in the days when hotted up Holdens, Fords & Valiant Chargers cruised down the street at walking pace, begging for attention. Hindley was always sleazy, but it was busier then. The rejuvenation of the east end of Rundle St moved the action down there, leaving Melbourne St as mainly a restaurant strip and Hindley St as a down and outs hangout with a few strip clubs. It's picked up over the 2000's, which is good to see, bit it will never be The Adelaide night strip again.

If they want to see an Aussie game that bad, should they have left Oz?

    No offense.

I thought he opened a place near Soi 1? His main problem was that all his staff were useless and he was a cheat.

I think he still has a pie shop in soi 9, but not on the site of the guest house. It might even be next door, but in a much smaller unit.

Don't take much interest since I moved out of that soi, oh and having tasted his wares, that was another reason not to bother.

    His food was shite.
