Gullivers soi 5 building standards

Anyone in here at midnight on Sunday night? Did you see the fat guy fall through the front doors, smash the glass, cut his arm open, and leave a pint of gravy on the terrace? (with a gang of drunks screaming for an ambulance, and lots of gobsmacked Thaistaff watching on waiting for something interesting to happen to tell their loved ones about when they get home)?

Its amazing that a place like this uses standard glass rather than laminated or severely toughened in its main doors. The way it broke was scary. Thats gotta be below proper building standards for commercial premises.

I heard there was a 'brawl' of sorts at the bull's head a week or two ago, which was apparently quite an ugly scene involving some farang guys, a thai girl who was swinging a pool cue, and lots of blood and broken stuff. Anybody shed some light on this? I know a few posters frequent this place....

Pub violence is one of the less charming parts of western society, methinks..

Well I for one take this matter seriously!

My thoughts are along the lines that the glass was up to international standards for the average Thai not to fall through but a 225kg American on a drunken stumble is going to shoot through Thai standard glass like a big sneeze through a wet tissue.

Thanks for the heads up Smeg, I'll be careful where I get thrown out of now.

Thankyou to all concerned. I have offered reparations to all the businesses that suffered a disruption as a result of my outburst and subsequent bleeding.

Rumour has it, that a group of disgruntled Ladyboys from Nana were looking for a certain TD poster because of an incident on the 2nd floor of Nana. Seems the said TD poster has infected the whole group with a very nasty STD.
